Help .. I have a 1993 900 s Turbo convertible automatic in good condition, in the U.K. the other day the check engine light came on but clears when the car is restarted I thought I would pull the fault codes so read up on this..this is where the confusion starts,
I cannot find the multi pin plug with the code wire I have looked under the bellows in front of the gear shift, I have looked under the rear seat and found only two sockets on the side walls one with two jumper wires stuck in them (left side).
the plot thickens.. there is no dashpot on the throttle, the AMM is made of metal (aluminium I think) and not black plastic.. The AIC valve has not two,not three, but four wires there are three wires on the throttle position sensor but there is a two wire pug attached to nothing very close to this just hanging around, doesnt seem to have been used for years.
Also I noticed there was no seat belt warning relay plugged in while under the back seat, managed to get a "chime" relay on ebay but althugh there is a socket in the plastic tray there is no wiring underneath it all the wiring is in very good condition and looks to be factory fitted dont know if this is relevant or not.
any help in identifying the fuel system would very welcome and maybe I could pull codes from it...many thanks for any help
