I just went through this same clutch problem. I didn't see any fuild leaking at the bottom of the clutch area, so I thought it was the master. I replaced the master and opened up the old one...nothing worn, so I now have a spare. Clutch action was still non-existent. The clutch cover was removed and that's when I saw traces of a fluid leak. The clutch worked sometimes and then would go away completely. I replaced the slave and everything is back to normal now. Seems as though the hot weather causes the slave o-rings to tear themselves up. This is the 2nd slave I've done and it looks like the o-ring gets twistd and them pinched. I usually replace the o-rings and keep the old slave as a spare...for next time this problem happens.
