Well I was going to do it anyway, take out the AC stuff. I took out the compressor, evap core, and lines about a month ago. Last night after the brake caliper failure I decided to continue working.
So I started by removing the upper core support that ties the two fenders together, then realized that it also holds the hood hinges too. So I pulled the grill, removed the bolts, then cut the core in 5 pieces and yanked it out.
Now I have room for the monster Griffin intercooler I have !! I think I need to trim the fascia a little on the lower area, but so far it looks darn good for having room for my new cooler.
