PS pump install

I can't remember how the top mount (the adjustable mount) goes back together. That's what you get when you let time go by between removal and replacement.<sigh>
Anyway, I figured out that the slotted bracket on the pump proper goes BEHIND the slotted bracket on the engine. (lines up better that way than if it were outside).
But I can't reckon how the blasted thing bolts in. There's this rod thing with an eyelet at one end. That I see how it goes in the Bentley and eEuropean's parts page. BUT,,,how does it bolt into place? Gotta get a nut in behind the sloted bracket? I have a carriage-bolt-like thing that came off...square shoulders under the rounded non-grippable head. Is this the piece that goes in under the movable bracket threaded end to the rear (of the car)?
Wish I had better pictures.
