through the slave's bleed nipple, cracked wide open, and taking ANOTHER bleed nipple, got from a junkyard, parts car, indy shop that has an old slave lying around, etc., and REMOVE the line to the slave, and in its hole, which has the same threading as the bleed nipple, you insert the spare bleed nipple and run it down to close things off. (Or, maybe it's don't crack open the bleed nipple, and instead hook the grease gun to the spare nipple, screwed into the hole where the hydraulic line normally enters the cylinder, but don't run it in tight. Attach grease gun to that.)
Then when you pump the grease gun you fill the slave cylinder up with grease and actuate its piston with a MUCH THICKER hydraulic fluid - - grease. Can't leak past the seal, or if it does it's just a little bit. Hold grease gun pressure on while you insert the special ring tool or a 5 gallon bucket handle bent to fit.
