I'm in the process of removing bad engine & shot auto trans out of my 93 convertible. It's getting a 5 speed. I've pulled lots of radiators before, but this one with an automatic really stumped me. I ended breaking off the fan on the drivers side, as it interefered with the trans, and all the screw heads were stripped. Thankfully having a garage full of spare parts makes you look at removal of some items a different way.
Another of my personal PITA is trying to remove the oil dipstick tube. If the moon & the stars are aligned right, I can fir my huge adjustable wrench in there and give it the slightest turn to break it loose. If I ever do this job again, I'm by a crowfoot wrench in that size.I'll have to measure it.
