3 Door 900 Seat Belt Plastic Sleeves

This is how I repair the cracks in the plastic sleeves for the front seat belts on a 3 door 900 where the belts attacth to the frame of the car in front of the rear seats: I use Loctite Superglue. The problem is the silicone that gets on these over the years through the use of Amorall, etc, interferes with the bond of the glue. I use a little bit of glue and bond the pieces together. After ten minutes I pull the pieces apart(easily) revealing the white residue of the glue which has reacted with the silicone, not the plastic. I then scrape away the white residue and reglue the pieces which now results in a very strong bond as there is no silicone present. I then apply 303 Protectant (no silicone in it) on the entire sleeve. The repair is really hard to notice as the sleeves themselves have indentations that blend the repair.
I also think the main damage occurs to these sleeves when the rear seat is
lowered and the seat belt is used but the sleeve is not allowed to move/
rotate because of the rear seat. I am raising the sleeves off the floor now when I lower the rear seat.
