Pull the coil wire out and stash it. I doubt many thieves have a replacment in their back pocket. You could even put a non working decoy wire in if you really thought someone would go through the trouble of looking under the hood to try to figure out why it wouldn't start.
A bit of a hassle for sure-but pretty effective, and cost zero dollars.....
