Yes, you can stand on it holding gallon jugs of water in your hand, etc., but 200-250 lb-ft is easily obtained using a torque wrench bought from Sears Craftsman or other sources.
Notwithstanding the torque capabilities of the wrench, there are extenders that can be used to increase the range of the wrench (although the inaccuracy is probably doubled too), so using a one foot extension on a 24" wrench increases the indicated torque on the fastener by 50%. So to get 225ftlb on a one foot extension you'd only have to pull 150ftlb on the wrench. I think...I'd look it up before I used an extender but 150 is a lot easier to pull than 225. Of course manly men can pull 225....
