I read your posts below.
I don't think that the shudder is from the EZK. When the EZK maxes out retard from detecting knock, you should see 4-flash sequences on your Check Engine light.
Tell us more about what you're doing when you hit the 3500 RPM point. What happens when you use less boost?
What's your timing set at?
Fresh spark plugs, cap, rotor, and spark plug wires? Spark plug gaps set right?
Are the hose clamps on all of the turbo induction boots tight? Any splits in the rubber boots?
Can we assume that you have your turbo distributor in it?
When you did the engine swap, did you keep the AIC valve from the 900S?
