Saw the post about the new Saab synthetic xxx00063 man trans fluid today. I've been away from saabs lately, and last I remember is the Saab Synthetic Fluid (and Redline MTL).
Question is (I searched but couldn't really figure it out)....what's best? I've run Redline and honestly wasn't that impressed - I put a new 1992 saab trans in an 85 SPG in 1995 with MTL, and it shifted not so good. Never sure if it was a bum trans or the fluid but I suspected the fluid up until 2002 when I sold the 85 to Robert O'Mea. What about these saab synth fluids -- anyone like one over the other?
I ask because its cold here in TN now and my new-to-me 1990 SPG w/ a tranny rebuild 40K ago shifted kind of hard this AM.
Thanks
Ben
