I'm guessing you just did rear pads? Then you backed out the adjusters on the calipers? If you the pads and didn't do the adjuster you may have an issue there.
The method I use is to keep the rear axle in the air, don't put the wheel on the axle, make sure you have the front wheels blocked (chocked), have the emergency brake lever in the *OFF* position, by hand spin the hub in the forward direction, just use a lug bolt and spin with that. it should spin freely. tighten the adjuster one turn and spin again. repeat until the spin drags or stops sooner than before. back the adjuster out one full turn. spin again to make sure it doesn't stop. then do the other side same way. then put a wheel on, spin for effect. then apply the emergency brake lever and try to spin, it should be very difficult to impossible for you to turn by hand. check other side, should be the same. REMEMBER, these are SELF ADJUSTING emergency brakes. they move out to adjust for pad wear. This means that if you are adjusted too loose it will tighten up with a little time, it will "think" that the pad has worn. One way to hasten this is to backup go to neutral, and stop with the emergency brake only. you can even push this a little by keeping in reverse while you "pump" the emergency lever *gently* full strokes to almost stopping the car, get back to medium speed and repeat.
that's my story and I'm sticking to it....
