Ok, first I'll applaud you on your excellent website. Next, I'll admit I'm an old Volvo guy. That said, my son is getting his license in three years and I thought it might be nice to have a classic 900 convertible to give him. (I'm not about ready to give up my '66 Mustang A-code 4-speed convertible). So far I've looked at four 92-94 900 Convertible 5-speeds (non-turbos) that had between in 80k and 150k. They looked nice but once inside, I was dissapointed with the condition. More puzzling, none of these cars were close to the level of any Volvo I've ever owned/driven (dozens) even those with 450k on them. I was really expecting these cars to be of similar condition of a similarly aged Volvo? I can't imagine they get used any harder -- I've hauled kids, wood, and a small block V-8 in my 240s and the interiors look great and the car still rides solid as a tank. Maybe the Saab convertibles just don't hold up as well as the hardtops? I'm hoping I just hit a bad batch because the 900 Convertible still is a unique and beautiful car. Thanks, Rob
