I've noticed that on a dead flat freeway my gauge needle drifts up and down about 3/16ths of an inch if measured at the needle tip. Its a 91T that runs great. I've used a vacuum pump to check for leaks in the cruise hoses and valves. Doesn't leak.Idle is dead steady at 850. Don't remember my 87T doing that. There is not a perceptible surging as the needle moves but the pedal does move in and out slightly and with extreme concentration I notice very slight speed changes. I always use my cruise on trips and was wondering if the throttle fluctuations were completely normal or if it is pathological to say gas mileage. I don't get more than 28mpg with this car. My 87T was 29-30.5 on highway trips.
