No, a used car is never fully repaired. If you think you have everything working perfectly, the car will show you otherwise.
European cars are most continuum prone.
I had my 88 900t fixed at the dealership once, and everything was good, I went to leave, and the inside door pull handle broke off as I shut the door. That was pretty random.
On my old Jag, I left a previous owner's ding dimple in the chrome bumper when I had it restored so that there would be something wrong with it, and the continuum wouldn't be so apt to come into effect.
