we just did a set on my brother's car. we unbolted the coolant res and flopped it over on top of the engine. removed the small line on the res to the radiator and put a phillips screwdriver in it, put a cap on the res end.
also removed the front bumper and the airfilter box, AMM, and associated hose (plastic snorkel to the fender too). Worst part of the prep was removing the bumper extensions from the front bumper.
After all of that, with a cut down wrench, it went farily well.
We had HosePros remake the hoses. They cut the metal tube just beyond the crimp, put a threaded end and welded a ferrel (or something like that) to convert the end to a threaded connection instead of crimp, and supplied threaded hose to match. $96 for a pair done with our ends. That was significaltly less than half of new from dealer. They could even make with their ends in we wanted, for a few dollars more.
My buddy the Saab Master said this was a job he never liked to do, pain in the rear. After all of the prep it went pretty fast.
