The KYB Gas Adjusts are crap, the GR2 series are fine. The Gas Adjusts were meant as a heavy duty replacement, but don't work well on Saabs. The GR2 are designed to be slightly stiffer than original OEM to compensate for slight loss of spring rate. I've used them for years with no problems.
Don't lump all the KYB's together, and label them crap. The GR2 series are good.
