Hi, I agree with the advice you have gotten, but Saabs have an unusual crankcase ventilation system. It pulls a suction but has no fresh air inlet. This is okay to remove combustion moisture when using the car. But when stored it can leave some moisture in the crankcase. For my Saab I use a hair dryer with no heat and blow air in the oil filler and pull the pcv tube out of the top cover. Five minutes is more than enough to be sure the air is dry to avoid cylinder wall rust. Remember to close the fill & tube up. Marlin in Minnesota
