Another GTX user - just put 20-50 in my 86 w/215k.
I use the 20-50 year round here in Hotlanta.
Use a good Mann or WIX filter and you're aok!!
I should have taken a picture of the valve cover when I did the head gasket.
Clean as it could possibly be - but I changed it for the later style. I got tired of messing with the thicker gasket. the new cover was pretty dirty - well, see how it looks after a few more oil changes. I be the GTX cleans it up pretty good.
