.... & never looked back. I've saved so much time & money it's almost ridiculous! I initially jumped from 3k mi changes with GTX to 10k mi changes with M1. I've got just a bit over 200k on it right now, & my last change interval was 20k mi (nearly 2 yrs) using 0W-40. I'm currently using a 50/50 mix of 0W-40 & 15W-50, & will run that for another 20k mi.
With a Saab turbo, I'd stick to changes no longer than 10k mi. My first choice for viscosity would be 15W-50, with 5W-40 being the cold weather option. Oh, & I'd definitely run a double course of Auto-Rx before making the syn switch.
