Low speed fan...I know there's some sort of fix right? Posted by turrbo [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Hey folks,
I'm from the 9000 BB, but I have a 900 related question. I was driving a relative's '93 900S today in some heavy traffic and the temp gauge was concerning me.
It's about 35 degrees out in Boston, and the gauge rose uncomfortably close to the "H" when idling for a few minutes, but would come down as soon as I started moving again.
I know I recall something about a fix for this (a low speed fan control or something?), but it's been awhile since my C900 days. I couldn't find anything here after a quick search.
I'm used to the relative comfort of the ECU controlled temp gauges (which never move unless there's an urgent problem, like a dead waterpump!) on my 9000 and NG900, so this was quite a surprise!
Thanks in advance.
-Pete
