Thanks for all the suggestions! I replaced the fuel pressure regulator today with some luck and the Saab is not running as rich anymore! However, it is still doing the same thing, to somewhat of a lesser degree.. Thinking that the diaphragm was probably broken/ripped and the vacuum was pulling gas into the throttle body.. Based on all the input, I'm going to move on this evening to looking at (in order of preference, labor & expense):
1) High Voltage Coil (as suggested by jtm)
2) Oxygen sensor & CAT (as per Saana88 & whitesaab)
3) Fuel filter (as per whitesaab)
I really don't want to do a fuel filter in this weather.. ~0 degrees F.. Last time I tried this on a previous Saab, turned out the banjo bolts and hex screws were rusted to the point where things had to be cut away.. =(
I'll post whatever ends up fixing this!
