These are some thoughts.
Also, you SAY you left nothing on that could have crained it down but there are some sneaky things - - interior light switch can get flipped to always on easily. Or the inside-trunk light could have been knocked to ON. Or ?? So it could actually be that the battery just ran down completely flat.
