I'm looking to repaint or refinish the reflectors on Sadie's european headlights before she hits the road in another three and a half weeks. I can't wait, but I want to refinish the headlight reflectors now that I got the lenses off. What do I use? Is there a crome-ish spray paint to use? Do they need to be sanded and primed? I just searched back to December 2005 postings and found plenty of posts on "are these really as good as they sound" (my answer, enthusiastic yes!) but none on refinishing them. I also could use rubber grommets and rear caps for them but think I have a handle on a source there.
It's just one task in the twenty-five remaining before the car hits the road... Why didn't I get anything else done today?
