Jan,
They are a very close fit. The only real variable is how much you compress the pressure assembly. Find something a little thicker than the bucket handle to use for the re-assembly. Lawnmower throttle cable housing usually works pretty good. Replace your rear main seal, clutch shaft seal, clutch shaft cover o'ring, pilot bearing, slave cylinder and throw out bearing while you're in there and get the flywheel deglazed (or turned if needed) or Murphy's Law insists that you'll be back in there too soon. Successfully bleeding the clutch system causes lots of consternation for folks too. There are lots of posts here on getting that done efficiently. Good luck
