...outside temperatures reflects very little on inner workings of the engine once you reach and surpass operational temperatures.
Get tranny oil cooler (13 bucks) and place it in front of the rad/AC and route extension hoses to it. Hold in place with long twist ties. If you want you can move the screw stuff back and away from the end of the tube on the original hoses. That exposes the flair on the ends. Then attach extension hoses to the flaired edges. I envision this costing no more than 35 bucks.
