i would normally not think about using old pads but..
when i ordered rotors i naturally ordered new pads, however fed-x forgot where Fla. was and shipped the package to Colorado, when the package finally arrived at my door step it looked as if the box went to the pit of the earth and back, it wasn't until after i put the mangled box on the counter i saw at some point the box blew open and someone used a full roll of packing tape to seal up the box, after i opened the box it was clear the rear rotors flew out of the box along with the rear pads, it looks like when they hit the ground the rear pads guarded the rotors from the impact of the ground, which made a nice size chunk missing out of one pad, the other pad the clip was broke and the 3rd pad had a nice road rash mark along with rotor impact, the 4th pad looked to be fine.
as to what happened to the brake pad box and the rear rotor box, i`ll just say it was no longer usable at any form, box or cardboard cut outs. (the pads that were destroyed were the tex-stars)

everything else was fine in the order (front rotors, front pads, and rear rotors came through with out a scratch, only 3 rear pads where destroyed.

after hearing the posts im not going to run the old pads, thanks all
and i`ll be sure to remember to use concrete to sand off the glaze of pads when the procedure needs to be done. :)

already shelled out more clams for pads and they are on the way, duking it out with fed-x is a long and boring task.
i thought to take the loss (what the heck righ) just finding out my package was sent to Colorado took 3 days not to mention the 6 day truck ride back.
im sure i will be driving down the road now, tromping on the brakes thinking ahhh, she stops nice, not im burning them up.
thanks all
