Your compression numbers look fine - how many miles on the engine?
Compression tests have nothing to do with the intake plumbing, only the combustion chamber related components (pistons, rings, head, valves, cam timing).
Are you seeing white (coolant) or blue (oil) smoke?
Did you check the head for cracks? Before I knew any better, I had a HG done at a shop, and they wanted to charge me $50 to inspect the head. I saved that $50, they reinstalled the head, and billows of smoke resulted - they took the head off, and there was a minute crack between valve seats...
White smoke, a.k.a. steam is normal until you burn off all the coolant that collected in your exhaust - did you drive the car, or just let it "warm up" at idle? How is your idle?
How did your plugs look afterwards?
The turbo can't leak water (coolant) into the exhaust or intake, but they can leak oil into either or both intake/exhaust. If into exhaust, will result in blue smoke...
Let us know a few more details!
Take care,
Jonathan
