Single woman with Saab troubles!

My 1993 Saab 900 sat in my garage all winter, after having had an oil change in November. I haven't driven the car since then. Every so often I would start the car to make sure the battery would run. A month or so went by where I didn't check the car. Now, this week, I noticed a huge amount of oil sitting under the car, and also the car won't start--battery completely dead. (A new battery was installed less than a year ago.) I have no idea what to do. The engine is facing the wall of my garage and I don't know how to jumpstart it in this position. And is it dangerous to run the car after all the oil has apparently leaked out? Will I burn out the engine if I start it and there's no oil in the car? If I get the car started is it safe to drive it to the mechanics? Do you think the mechanics who did the oil change are responsible for the oil leakage problem? Do you think there is something wrong with the battery? I really don't know where to begin and, being a single woman with no "handyman" in my life, I could use some advice. Thank you!
