The car is a 1993. The cap and rotor were replaced last September with new parts from Jim Moncreif, not sure of the brand. When I say addressed, I mean I cleaned and inspected and replaced anything that was not sound. Aside from the fact the car is outside all the time these days it is clean and all maintenance is up to date. The windshield seal was not perfect last fall and the main relay (under the dash next to the fuel pump relay) was damp. I pulled and resealed the windshield, cleaned all the connections and replaced both relays. The car died completely the day I discovered this problem. It starts everytime now BUT is difficult to start some damp days but not all damp days. It seems to start fine later in the day, after the initial hard start. The fuel pump is only a few years old and the check valve holds although I only watched it for about 15 minutes yesterday. It held overnight last time I kept a guage on it that long, also last September. This is an EZK car and the only code is the standard no tach signal. Sorry for the rambling. These intermittant problems really puzzle me.
