You mention warped rotors. This is frequently caused by not following the proper torque pattern, and servicers tightening the bolts with an impact wrench set to maximum. When you get your car back from the shop after brake work or other work that requires wheel removal, immeditely loosen the wheel nuts and re-tighten them by hand with a torque wrench following the proper tightening sequence. I like to progressively tighten them a little more each time following the sequence, versus tightening each one all the way. After I've been doing this, I've NEVER had any rotor warpage issues!
