AMM, AIC, O2 sensor report

I searched and got info on where all these are and what they do. I cleaned contacts on AMM and AIC. No change. Tapped on all of them. No change. Opened AMM and sprayed electric cleaner, no change. AIC, electric cleaner. No change. WD40. No change. The AIC is free to turn. The wires are all in place inside the AMM. Still does the same thing-very hard to start, stumbles and dies usually. Occasionally idles fine, always dies in about 5 seconds. What next? Look for codes with some diagnostic device? Change out AMM and/or AIC with known good ones? What are options for O2 sensor if it won't come out of exhaust pipe? I think I'm about out of DIY options. If it is one of these parts, I can wait for it to come and change it myself, but I'd like to know which to buy first.
