Seller wants $800, but I can probably get it for $650. I could use some advice from the veterans here. I am really just looking for a 2nd Saab as an everyday driver. Turns out my 87TC is not the best winter car for Nebraska, too much salt.
Ok, its a European 1982 900 turbo 4 door/ trunk with 103,000 miles. Starts and runs fine after warmed up (2 year old gas in tank). 5 speed shifts as smooth as a Saab can shift. Has the usual host of minor problems, sagging headliner, blown cv boots, cooling fans works intermittently, bad paint, minor rust at door bottoms, slightly cracked dash, etc.
So, is there anything different about these European models? This was purchased new in Germany by someone in the service, then shipped back to the states and stored for about 10 years. Has been back on the road the last couple of years. I see it has the same CIS fuel system as my R.I.P. 84.
Thanks all
