Regular visitors at my favorite junkyard get it FREE. A guy gave me his tips: Look for recently registered cars. Then cut the rubber hose between tank and filler neck and siphon thru there. 5 Gal. plastic gas can, some hose.
Not for me but it's getting more tempting. $2.85 at cheapest regular station here, $2.83 at BJs, $2.99 most places. Portland, ME, with oil tank farm and tankers coming in here.
What gets me is, all news organizations take a pass at figuring out who's getting rich off it and naming them. And it's absolutely killing the already shaky US economy.
Instead, TV news seems to be cheering on the high prices, like it signifies some kind of progress. Sick progress I say.
