esp not Aeros with the smooth fronted finish. I had some Shelby's done that way a few years back....thye looked awful regardless of painting and clearcoating. I would have a bodyshop paint them professionally using old fashioned sandpaper to avoid the beaded (rough) finish. I had my current SPGs done this way...they look brand new.
The backs can also be clearcoated...or just left if they aren't pitted and oxidizing all over the place now. Brake dust and road 'patina' will take care of the backs.
