As to the spring spacers, there are a couple of types available. As I recall, one company made some of plastic or similar substance that would snap & hold onto one spring coil & wedge the body of the spacer between that coil & the next one. Another type was a twist in type that utilised a half inch drive ratchet to twist/force the spacer between the spring coils. The latter type is made of metal. If you intend to keep the car, one of sponsors (State of Nine?) offers the air bag system that fits inside the rr spring. The air pressure can be increased to offset rr spring sag or when carrying a heavy load. If the exhaust has a life time warranty, perhaps an adjustment is due to alleviate the clunk!
