Nope -- no brake bleed is necessary.
Just when you unscrew the thing, make sure brakes are depressurized sufficiently; otherwise you'll get a fine mist of fluid ALL over yourself and the car.
I wrapped a bunch of rags around mine just in case. No problems.
PS - also make sure to not strip out the hex head fitting on the top of hte thing. I almost stripped out my old one removing it (was on the car for 16 years or so I guess).
There's also some metal fitting in the old one that may not be in the new one. Make sure to swap it from the old accumulator to the new one. I read this on here, and did it on mine, works great.
