or hit a curb, if the alignment of the car is pigeon toed it will be harsh on your gas mileage
i had put Bentley specs the toe-in for the front wheels and it was so hard on my gas mileage it dropped from 35 miles to a gallon to 23
not to mention it toasted my front tires.
but one thing i noticed while driving with it like this.
im sure by now you know where the turbo tac is supposed to be on any stretch of road keeping the car at a certain speed.
if it seem the turbo tac is up higher than it should be its a clear indication of stress.
may it be a wheel barring on the verge of going bad, or a c.v.
just by knowing where the turbo tac should be can give a good indication of whats going on.
with my car and the toe-in, driving straight down the hwy, the turbo gauge was just under or on the start of the orange for boost,
ah wait let me grab a pic.....
in the pick you really cant see it but the lowest square is normal cursing at 70mph with cruse control, as you can see the car is just gliding and this is where it should be, (when its a sled)
the top square was at 70 with the specs that came out of Bentley,
perhaps i over toed but this is what i got, which tore that crap out of my gas.
im sure you know where your tac should sit at.
