Don't have a convertible, don't know if Geico is being fair, but - Sounds like it is well worth repairing. A little bent here and there wouldn't disuade me. If it's your ONLY transportation, that might force selling as "repairable". But, if you can do without it for a short while, here's what I'd consider:
Find a decent local body shop which is willing to go with used parts (which you get). Have them straighten the frame if needed and repair the buckle over the rear wheel. Have the shop replace the trunk/bumper/tail light assembly. Have them straighten it up right, paint as necessary, and then enjoy it once again. Where you are would determine the $$$$ of this.
