If you wait long enough, eventually the gas will flow through the rings into the oil pan, but I'd personally check the cylinder bores and be sure it has.
You do NOT want to crank the engine with a bunch of raw fuel in the cylinders. At best, it'll end up in your exhaust manifold, turbo, and catalytic converter and dribble out the tailpipe or evaporate. At worst, it will collect in the cat, and when you start the engine and the cat gets hot, it will either melt or explode. You need to be SURE there is no fuel in the cylinders before turning the engine over.
