I just got a little lost on the Performance BB - that link to a post there by "VW" Max was very informative.
I'm still confused as to which Bosch BPV my ScanTech unit cross references to. Max had a link to a site that listed the Bosch valve part # ending in '108' as the old style, which was superseded by '114' which was a lot better, but that '110' is the BPV "Holly Grail" & will outlast everything to date. However...Max dissected all of these & found that the early '108' valve had a thicker diaphragm (but that it tore easily), while the '114' & '110' types both had a thinner/stronger diaphragm...& appeared to be identical.
The ScanTech BPV I have has no markings that give any clues...Brownie - exactly what does the ScanTech catalog say? Where did you get it anyway?
Thanks everyone!!!
