It is possible to cut the fuel line and reinsert the banjo fitting - there is a procedure described in the Bentley manual, and it's been rehashed on the BBS many times. It's not easy, and prone to failure, so be sure the leak is in the line and not the fuel filter housing or the washers...
If the the leaky line is the one going back to the tank, my strong recommendation is to drop the tank and replace the line - it's only about six feet long, and should be readily available in a junkyard. If it's the line going to the engine, well, it's a PITA to replace that so refitting would be the first attempt I'd make.
