On my 91 se convertible, I was having a problem where it would pull to one side when braking, and ABS force was unpredictable. I am starting with the simple things that need to be done anyways. I was bleeding the brakes and noticed a huge bulge in the left front brake line (pic 1). So I ordered and received new hoses.

I got the first one (left) changed easily after letting the old fittings soak in liquid wrench penetrant for a day. It looks good now. I bled it immediately so any present air would not make it's way up the brake lines.

I am now soaking the right side overnight prior to disconnection and notice the bracket holding the hardline to the flexible hose has no means of attachment to the caliper. Did a previous owner put the wrong caliper for the car or will it be OK? It also had a different bleed screw, which is fine.

Thanks for any advice on whether this caliper should stay.
