Hmmmm.....lower A arm......I have some rally A arms that are boxed in ready to be installed, but was waiting until later.
Since I don't have X ray vision, but an X rated mind, I am thinking that my aftermarket supplier in a rush gave me a pressure plate that did not have the Saab heat treat on the face of the pressure plate. I recall that after the first 1000 miles, I took it apart to reset the pilot bearing, and noticed that the PP had a .050 deep groove the width of the pucks worn in it by the hockey pucks. So, maybe they gouged into the PP and............well heck, then it should do it in first too.
I guess the only way to tell is to change the dirty mind for dirty hands.
