My 91/900s auto has been on the road for 166.687 miles and shift fine. Just flush with type F fluid. On the oil check stick, it should say the brand . There is a plastic -hard- label right on the dip-stick. Check engine mounts, C/V boots and joint, tyre rods, ball joints. Add with the transmission service a bottle of "Lucas brand transmission additive. This will recondition the seals. You could also service the other two fluid that make-up the trans. lube. Automatic lube-type "F", 10/30w, 90w,and change the front screen, gasket and filter. All this is a DYI and pretty easy to do. These auto aren't too fast , but handling and saftey are still SAAB. Is it a three or four speed? I don't drive mine past 70 mph as the trans./engine speed turns faster. It wouldn't hurt the car to go faster, I use my 87/9000t for faster longer travel speeds.
