90' SPG battery or starter

For the first time in history I left the radio on while pumping gas. The radio is after market, but there is no other amplifier. 5 minutes later the car did not start. The starter didn't even attempt to turn over the motor. I got a jump. All was well, I started the car twice more with no problems after letting it sit for several hours in between that day.
A week later (I drive my car about once a week) the car would not start up. Again, the starter didn't attempt to turn over the motor, but the other electronics in the car seemed fine. This time I jumped the car and let it charge. I had missed my window for needing the car so I disconnected the battery and let her sit. I had no problem with this, having done it with a previous 900 for over a year =D.
A week later (this morning) I took home a volt meter and measured the voltage of the battery at 12.3V. I connected it to the car, the starter tried to start the car for about a second (so close I could taste it!). I tried to start it two more times but the starter lasted less each of these times. On the 4th try, the starter was silent again. All the electronics work fine. I measured the voltage at 11.75V across the terminals. With the key out of the ignition I measured at 0.15 A draw on the battery.
To my knowledge the battery is oversized, and well within its lifetime.
Q: Shouldn't I be able to grind that starter for awhile at 12.3V ?? (this is what I am really concerned about)
Q: Advice on trying to find out where this current draw is from?
I suspect the after market radio, it has been erratic lately (not responding to buttons, the antenna for the car comes on before I put the face plate on the radio. I know that this signal comes from the radio so I am suspicious.
