Not to start the proverbial what's better discussion but...
I inquired about Snows last year and was settling on Hak II's for ~$100 each plus install, but held off. I was able to run my Nordfrost II's last season without a problem on my 89 SPG. This year, I really should replace them.
I'm looking for experience/opinions about the Blizzak Revo 1's compared to Haks/Gislaveds. I know most would say Gislaveds or Haks hands down, but are they that much better? I can get the Blizzaks for ~$50 each vs ~$100 for the Haks, can't find Gislaveds anywhere. I know rapid wear is the knock on Blizzaks, but I run about 7500 miles/yr and interchange summer/snows, so even at 15K I'd get 3-4 yrs easy. Size will be 185 65 15.
BTW, I'm in Mineapoils, so we get snow and ice but the roads are usaully plowed quickly.
TIA for you opinions/thoughts.
