Hi Justin,
gotta walk away and breath a little...and think. Here's my 02c on stupid things that cause big issues;
1. change your cap & rotor...again. Cannot tell you how many crappy electrical parts are out there. Also make sure distributor advance is working properly...I had a broken spring inside my dizzy that was letting the timing scatter under light load, (off boost)...drove me crazy and took months to find!
2. Alternator ground wires..also starter to alternator positive cable and attachments. Main Grounds engine to chassis...even though your voltmeter is happy, if your alternator is driving the connections, your ignition might not be getting the full benefit. Check ignition relay and fuse box connections...and the fuses themselves for any signs of corrosion.
3. Vacuum? What about those under dash vacuum connections to the cruise control...a nice hidden source for vac leaks....tack everyone of those little vac lines down and make sure you aren't losing vacuum.
lotsa luck!...and don't give up....our cars are getting rarer every day....and a 9000 is NOT the answer!
Pete
