and it will last for a very long time, if its a turbo i suggest to get the max life out of the trans, only play with the boost after you have reached 4th, and like you said no rabbit starts.
the trans may out last the motor this way,
the cars (c900) i find at the pick n` pulls 75% of them have auto trans.
and very in mileage from 120,000 to 190,000 and 80% of them are turbo, which leaves me with pristine parts.
if i had the time i would pull a few motors also.... but i don't.
treat you trans like gold and you will get long life out of it.
if you want something to rip around town with and love the low end boost in every gear get a manual and use you auto for them relaxing kind of days where there is no need to shift.
