Inquiring minds (and skinned knuckles) want to know.
I've read various posts on the board saying that the Bentley procedure didn't work all that well. Of course, we've all learned that not all of their procedures work as advertised :-)
The ol' '89 SPG suddenly decided to become even more incontinent than before by dribbling 1/3 of its PS fluid reservoir a day onto the driveway, making it my own private hazardous waste area.
It must have become peeved at what I said when I repaired the clutch hydraulics a couple of weeks ago.
I replaced the supply hose earlier this week. That was a lousy, greasy, gritty mess and it didn't change the rate of fluid loss very much. I figure it's time to replace the return hose and put in my spare PS pump.
